How to Use the Device Manager to Disable USB Ports :

1.Log in to an administrator account.

 on the Start menu.

2.Click on Device Manager.

3.Click on Universal Serial Bus controllers to view all of the USB ports.

4.Right click on the USB port that you would like to disable.

5.Select Disable devices 

In the Group or user names list, select the SYSTEM account.

6.In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control, and then click OK

7.Right-click the Usbstor.inf file, and then click Properties.

8.Click the Security tab.

9.In the Group or user names list, add the user or group that you want to set Deny permissions for.

9.In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control.

10.In the Group or user names list, select the SYSTEM account.

11.In the Permissions for UserName or GroupName list, click to select the Deny check box next to Full Control, and then click OK

Disable Usb Drives in Registry Editor:

Open Windows registry editor:

 1.In the search bar or in the menu to execute

 Press enter the key

1.Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ USBSTOR.

In the USBSTOR section,

 

2.open the Start ⇨ parameter in the “Value” field, set 4 and click “OK”.

Disable Usb Drives in Group Policies

1.First, you need to open local group policy editor.

2.In the search bar or in the menu to execute (execute is called with the Win + R keys), enter:

gpedit.mscand press the Enter key.

Computer Configuration” ⇨ “Administrative Templates” ⇨ “System” ⇨ “Removable Storage Access” ⇨ in the right pane, open “Removable Disks: Deny Execute Access”.

1.After that choose “Enabled” and click “OK”.

Right-click on the “Start” button on the taskbar and select “Device Manager”.

Expand USB Controllers:

 Right-click on all entries, one after another. 

✔.click “Disable Device”.

 Click “Yes” when you see a confirmation dialog.
